Music of Our Teenage Years with Dan Smith & Laura Cathcart

Dan retired after 20 years as a musician in the U.S. Army, where he served as instrumental instructor at the Armed Forces School of Music, performed as oboe soloist and managed a Dixieland band for the South Carolina State Arts Commission. He has been a professional musician for 60+ years. He organized and led a big band, German Band, and a Dixieland band. In the military, he served as the leader of the Continental Army Band Woodwind Quintet. He went on many quintet tours across the US and Europe. Laura Cathcart will be accompanying him on saxophone.
