    This recurring program will lead individuals in creating stories about their lives, given different themes and subject matters throughout the course of the program. This program meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 3 PM with Kelly Sokol, a teaching artist with the Muse Writers Center.

    Heather Queen’s art projects utilize common and natural materials to explore themes of nature, light, and reflection. Each project delves into unique art topics, inviting viewers to engage with textures, transparency, and the beauty of found objects.

  • Singing and Smiling with David Jones

    David’s sole objective is to interact with the audience via talking and singing with him and the most importantly, putting a “Smile” on their Face! He will be singing a variety of music including country and classic rock.  

  • Jammin’ with Mark Pettiford

    Mark plays an ecletic mix of 40s, 50s, 60, 70s & 80s music, that entertains people of all ages. Mark blends in a nice style of guitar playing, with his singing style that has people singing, clapping and dancing to the music.

  • Candle Making with Ginnie Stover

    Join Ginnie Stover as she guides participants in the process of creating their own decorative gel candle.

  • Ascension Melodies with Rebecca Antonio

    Ascension Melodies met and first started playing together at Church of the Ascension in Virginia Beach 15 years ago. With Lisa on flute and Rebecca on violin they share their musical talents through classical and contemporary flute/violin duets.
